In 1999, he decided to share his research on the internet in the hopes of locating other researchers, and thus "The Saconesset Homestead" was born [http:hawkshome.net]. In March of 2002, it was decided that the original website had become too generic and thus began the creation of the new "Bowerman Genealogy" website, along with co-webmasters Jeff Staley and Lon Bowerman. In November of 2001, he completed the requirements and was awarded a Master of Arts in Genealogy Degree, from Canterbury University. In October of 2003, he completed and received his Doctor of Arts in Genealogy Degree. Currently residing in South Easton, MA., Ron lives with his fellow genealogist and life companion, Annmarie Traina. Ron is currently a member of the:

Ronald L. Lahti, a native of North Falmouth, Massachusetts, has been
researching the Bowerman family off and on since 1988. His career in
Computer Technologies (1982 - 1999) led him to the world of the Internet,
where he has hosted several genealogical "chat rooms" and sponsored two remote
genealogy classrooms.
