YOU WILL NOTE THAT ALL SURNAMES OF EACH GENERATION'S MALE IS DOE (the example's surname), DIRECT MALE SURNAME DESCENT.

The dates and places of births, marriages and deaths are important as it will aid in matching lineage after the testing phase. It also may help in establishing migration patterns for your surname. You may include earlier unproven lineage for possible help in making matches, but I will be depending on the proven descent for the testing.

After you read the above example of lineage and the requirements for participation contained in the description of the project: Bowerman Surname Project
and decide that you have the needed male surname direct descent, you can complete your Descendant's Chart and provide it to me, by e-mail, for the project.
The project is a Y-chromosome DNA project on male direct ancestry of a living participant of the same or similar surname.

The cost for  project participants is $99.00 for a 12 marker test and $169.00 for a 25 marker test. The price is a discounted cost of the prices given on the web site of Family Tree DNA, Genealogy by Genetics, Ltd.(FTDNA).

You are encouraged to provide the descendant's chart as soon as possible. After receiving your chart I will send you the sign up form for you to complete and send back to me.
If you are requesting a test with out full participation, send me your mail & e-mail addresses, full name and tell me which test you want at what price and I will have you signed up at FTDNA. They will bill you and send you a DNA Kit.

Feel free to ask any further questions you may have, to me at my e-mail address:
