Many of the unpublished manuscripts collected here were the basis for much of the Bowerman Family genealogy found on the web today. These manuscripts date from the late nineteenth century through the mid-twentieth century, and have rarely been seen or consulted. While interesting reading and helpful in tracing our lineages, serious genealogists must understand that much of the research represented here falls far below contemporary standards of genealogical research. Thus, the serious genealogist must make every effort to verify the data found herein through standard research methods, and analysis of original records. The manuscripts listed here are categorized by "original" author, although many have been transcribed by descendants.
