Deed - Nathan Hatch to Seth
Allen, 13 Sep 1807 Know all men by these present, that I Ignatious Dillingham of Falmouth in the County of Barnstable in Masachuesetts yeoman, by power of attorney given me by Nathan Hatch of Sidney in the County of Kenebeck and district of Maine in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars paid me by Seth Allen of Falmouth afforesaid mariner, the receipt where of I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Seth Allen his heirs and assigns forever, a piece of land, laying on the east side of the north-shore road in Falmouth afores[aid] containing one and an half acre be the same more or less bounded as followeth of the north by my land as the wall now stands on the east and south by the land of Silas Gifford as the wall now stands and on the west by the Contry road, also a dwell ing-house out house standing on said land also a well of water on the west side of the said Contry road near said house. To have and to hold, the said granted and bargained premises, with the privileges and appurtenances thereof, to him the said Seth Allen his heirs and asigns forever; to his and their use and behoof forever. And I the said Ignatious Dillingham in capacity aforesaid for Nathan Hatch, his heirs, executors and administrators, do covenant with the said Seth Allen his heirs and assigns, that the said Nathan Hatch is, lawfully seized in fee of the premises, that they are free of all incumb rances that I have good right by (power aforesaid) to sell and convey the same to the said Seth Allen to hold as aforesaid, and that I will warrant and defend the same to the said Seth Allen his heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.

Signed sealed and delivered in presence of us Barnstable & December 2nd 1807 then Charles Talor personally appears the above named Joseph Dillingham Ignatious Dillingham and acknowledge this same to be his free act & Deed Before me David Nye Justise peace |
