Letters of Ichabod Bowerman [Dutchess County, NY] Written 18 Oct 1759, to the Society of Friends, admitting "too much familiarity" with his housekeeper (2nd Wife Jane Richmond) and pleading for forgiveness. Letters of Abigail Hughes, wife of Judah Bowerman [Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada] Written 12 Nov 1809, to Samuel Hughes and "relations" Letters of Phebe Richmond [Sister of Ruth (Bryant) Bowerman] Written 19 Feb 1837, To Miss Ruth Bryant, of Boston Letters of Abial/Ruth Bow[er]man Written 3 Nov 1843, by Abial and Ruth (Bryant) Bow[er]man, to their parents, from Boston Letters of Samuel Hughes [Brother to Abigail above] Written October of 1838, from "Hope" and On the second page, he included a copy of a poem he had written "some time ago" entitled "The Spring of the year - or the Prodigal son returning to his fathers house." The poem is dated April of 1838. Written January 20th, 1839, from "Hope," Written 10th mo 19th 1851, from Newmarket, is of particular interest as it concerns the death of Peter Cronkhite. Letters of Benjamin Bowman/Bowerman [Fairfield, ME] Written 21 10 1839, by Benjamin Bow[er]man of St. Albans, ME, to his brother Abial Bowerman, then of Milton, MA., discussing a farm he thought Abial might be interested in buying.
