Susannah
Bowerman was born on 7 March 1832 in Picton, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of
Stephen Ichabod Bowerman and
Catherine Cunningham.
As of 3 January 1849, Susannah was also known as Susanna Boarman. As of 3 January 1849, her married name was Susannah Taylor.

Susannah Bowerman died on 19 February 1919 in Owen Sound, Grey Co., Ontario, Canada,, at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 12 days of apoplexy, 1 week duration.
The obituary of Susannah Bowerman, of Owen Sound, Grey Co., Ontario, Canada, dated after 19 February 1919 reads:
"The death of Mrs. Susan Taylor occurred yesterday morning at the home
of her daughter Mrs. Samuel Woods, 929 5th Ave. East. The late Mrs.
Taylor was a resident of Meaford for many years and has only lived
in Owen Sound for the past 3 years. Mrs. Taylor was 87 years old and
her death was due to old age.
She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Bell of Meaford, Mrs. N. D.
Seaman of Sauble Falls, Mrs. Wm. Edson of San Francisco, Mrs. Amos
Cranyes, and Mrs. A. Carlyle, both of Meaford, and Mrs. S. Woods. She
is also survived by two sons, Mr. W. Taylor, of Saginaw, Mich., and Mr.
Chas. Taylor of Meaford. The burial will take place in Meaford."
[NOTE: the above says she was survived by 7 daughters, but only 6
are listed. Cranyes should be Cramp. Seventh daughter may be Mrs. E.
Lloyd of Alberta (don't have a death date for her yet).].
She was buried after 19 February 1919.
