His wife was the Executor of the will, which was witnessed by Job Cleveland, Benjamin Briggs, Stephen V. Gaige.8
     Silas Bowerman died on 1 February 1845 in Quaker Street, NY, USA,, at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 10 days.9 He was buried after 1 February 1845 at Duanesburgh MM Cemetery, Quaker Street, NY, USA; If anyone has photo's of the headstones, I would appreciate copies for the records).7
     His will was probated on 9 April 1845 at Duanesburgh, NY, USA.8

     Benjamin Clifton purchased "a seven-acre lot of salt meadow described as on the west side of Charles' Neck" [prob. his uncle, brother of mother Dorothy] from Benjamin Burge, of Rochester on 31 December 1716 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.5
     Benjamin was also known as Benjaman Clefton.
     Benjaman, age 26, married Sary Davice, age 22, daughter of Timothy Davis and Sarah Perry, on 25 January 1716/17 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.6,7
     Benjamin Clifton and his wife, Sarah, purchased land that was part of the homestead of Sarah's "father, Timothy Davis, late of Rochester, deceased" for 55 pounds. From John Sumers, of Rochester, on 11 July 1720 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.8
     Benjamin Clifton and Sarah Davis received land from the settlement of her father's estate, a one-seventh share described as "a lott of salt meadow lying in a Neck called Crammesett alias Insuet" on 3 March 1721/22 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.9 He recieved, by deed, from Savory Clifton, land described as: "being an island in s'd Benjamin Clifton's Meadow & is known by ye name of Pessuet's Island & is bounded all round by ye meadow & water containing by estimation thirteen acres & sixty rods." This deed is signed by Savory Clifton, alone, and witnessed by his daughter, Bearsheb. Clifton and his son-in-law, Thomas Bowerman. The deed was acknowledged 18 Mar 1728/9 by "Justice of ye Peace" on 1 June 1727 at Cramsett Neck, Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.10,11,12
On 24 May 1728, Benjamin Clifton and Sarah Davis sold to Melatiah Bourne, of Sandwich, their share of land held jointly with Sarah's sister, Dorcas Davis, received from "the settlement of the estate of our honoured Father, Timothy Davis" in Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.13
     Benjamin Clifton purchased 30 acres from John Sumers, his brother-in-law, husband of his wife's sister, Rest, on 17 August 1728 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.14 He left a will dated 23 January 1729/30 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England, (John Summers appointed as executor).15
     His will was sworn to on 17 Sep 1730 and proved 25 Jan 1730/31 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.15
