     Sarah Davis was born on 18 March 1693/94 in Sandwich, Barnstable Co., MA, New England.2,1 She was the daughter of Timothy Davis and Sarah Perry.1,2 As of 25 January 1716/17, her married name was Sarah Clifton.
     Sary, age 22, married first, Benjaman Clefton, age 26, son of Savory Clefton and Dority Burge, on 25 January 1716/17 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.3,4
     Sarah was also known as Sary Davice.3
     Sarah Davis sold land from the settlement of her father's estate, a one-seventh share described as "a lott of salt meadow lying in a Neck called Crammesett alias Insuet" to an unknown person on 3 March 1721/22 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.5
On 24 May 1728, Sarah Davis and Benjamin Clifton sold to Melatiah Bourne, of Sandwich, their share of land held jointly with Sarah's sister, Dorcas Davis, received from "the settlement of the estate of our honoured Father, Timothy Davis" in Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.6 As of 22 June 1731, her married name was Sarah Rose.7
     Sarah, age 37, married second, John Rose on 22 June 1731 at Rochester, Plymouth Co., MA, New England,  [int. "late of Hartford" and John of "Montecute in the County of Hampshire", MA.].7
     Sarah Davis died before 1 July 1778.8
