Catherine Whelden, on 27 July 1668 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., MA, New England.
2 He left a will dated 7 December 1727 at Eastham, Barnstable Co., MA, New England, [recorded in Barnstable County Probate Records, Volume 5, pages 124-125]. Bequests made to:
South Church of Christ in Eastham "whereof I was a member" [forty shillings];
Rev. Mr. Samuel Osborn "Pastor of said church" [twenty shillings];
His son, Josiah Cooke, "my Silver headed Cane & no more of my estate & Twenty Shillings passable money";
His son Richard Cooke "Twenty Shillings passable money and no more of my estate";
His son, Joshua Cooke "Twenty Shillings passable money and no more of my estate";
His son Caleb Cooke "Twenty Shillings passable money and no more of my estate";
His "Loving Daughter" Deborah Godfrey "Twenty pounds in money or in things Valued at money price whereof in part of the Sd twenty pounds She hath reciev'd already a Note of the Particulars the Sum of Ten pounds Six Shillings - The remainder of the Twenty pound being paid She Shall have no more of my Estate";

Witnesses to the will were Samuel Freeman, Isaac Pepper, and John Witherell. Samuel Freeman and Isaac Pepper appeared and gave oath to the will on 5 July 1732, before Caoram A. Bourn [Probate Judge], and the will was approved 30 Aug 1732. [Josiah mentions in the first part of the will that he had "Already given to my Children Considerable in Lands money &c."].
