Bumpas oweth 6 bushels at 6 sh pr bush"; In the same inventory, we also find that John Thorpe owed 11 shillings "To Edward Bumpasse for nursing his child" on 15 November 1633 at Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA, New England.
