"1. Parks according to marriage certificate, although Dave Cooper insists the name was spelled Parkes. Abigall is the spelling on the headstone.
2. Abigail is not listed in the 1871 census, but is listed as 20 in the 1881 census.
3. Birth amd marriage information from Dave Cooper."
As of 5 September 1883, her married name was Abigail Cooper.1

3. Anecdotal information from Win Cooper: George was born in Tillsonburg where his father worked for Borden Dairies. The family moved to Norwich when a new plant was opened and George worked there. When a second new plant was opened in Ingersoll, George brought his new family to that town. The day George died he called Win from the care home to say that he was not feeling well. By noon that day he was dead.
4. Anecdotal information from Tim Cooper: I remember Grandpa Cooper loved his garden. The side of the house was lily of the valley. The back garden consisted entirely of gladioli and asparagus. The glads were harvested in time for decoration Sunday at Delhi cemetery, where Grandma was buried (Grandpa joined her there). Grandpa used to bring asparagus over very regularly in the summer, much to Steve's chagrin. Grandpa had an old Ford Model K that he sold when I was about 14. When I went to the care home to see Grandpa Cooper, he introduced me to all of the women. He knew all of the single women by their first names, but introduced all of the married women as Mrs. so and so. He was 94 at the time and had been a widower for about 16 years at the time."
