     Anna Hoxie was born circa 1675 in Sandwich, Barnstable Co., MA, New England, (See research Note - this date is conjecture based on that).

     Research Note:  The birth record of Anna has not been found. An interesting note for thought does exist, however: The original birth record of Hezekiah Hoxie, her brother, was originally entered as a daughter born 1675, then changed by the same hand to son Hezeciah born 1677. The birth records of Lodowick Hoxies children, with the exception of Anna, are found in the Sandwich Monthly Meeting Records of Births & Marriages From 1646-1761, pg. 17. These records show the family births in one group and there is a five year gap between the birth of Gideon [1672] and Hezeciah [1677], more than ample space for another child to have been born.
     As Anna was married in 1701, she would have been 26 years of age, which may also be considered acceptable.
She was the daughter of Lodowick Hoxsie and Mary Presbury.1 As of 11 February 1700/1, her married name was Anna Wing.2
     Anna married Jashub Wing on 11 February 1700/1 in Sandwich, Barnstable Co., MA, New England.2
     Anna Hoxie died on 16 December 1721 in Sandwich, Barnstable Co., MA, New England.1
