Recieved "1/3 part of a Man's lay" or share of a whaling or similar venture on the ship Essex in an original note signed at Nantucket by Obed Mitchell and son. On 14 June 1801 at Nantucket, MA, USA. He was named an heir in the will of Jabez Gifford dated 17 January 1803 Left his entire estate to Prince, his brother in law. He left a will dated 9 December 1803.
Prince Gifford died on 14 December 1803 at the age of 57 years and 5 months Aged 57y 5m (ts). He was buried after 14 December 1803. His estate was probated on 14 February 1804.
