Research Note: BFH 277 suggests that Annes possibly married Thomas Rose "of Sunderland, Hampshire Co., Mass." [citing NGS 59:171, citing PCD 49:22]. The author further asks if this Thomas Rose could have been the son of Edward Rose, b. 8 June 1711, per Rochester VR.
She was the daughter of Benjamin Clifton and Sarah Davis.1 She was mentioned in a deed "in Partnership" with brothers Timothy and Benjamin as owning "Part and Dividend of ye Real Estate of our Hon'rd Father Benjamin Clifton late of s'd Rochester Deceased as Given me in his last Will and Testament" on 3 March 1748.3
