Anna Stevenson circa 1829 in Ontario, Canada. It has also been reported that Ichabod married
Elizabeth Stebbings, but no evidence has been found to substantiate this claim.

The Ontario death registration for Sarah Catherine (Bowerman) Parks provides us with the full maiden name of her mother:
Sarah Parkes, died 15 March 1917, aged 80 years, 9 months and 15 days. Born South Norwich, widow, parents Ichabod Bowerman and Anna Stevenson. Cause of death was old age and heart failure. Dr. Bennett of Tillsonburg attended and the informant was John Cooper. Died Lot 14, Concession 11 South Norwich. Buried Pine Street Cemetery, Otterville. Registered in South Norwich Township, Oxford County, Ontario. [Ontario Death Registration # 24073 - 1917]
A. C. Bowerman's Manuscript mentions that Ichabod died in Norwich, Ontario, Canada. As he also names Ichabod's parents in this manuscript, the new data is being adopted until records are located to prove otherwise. A copy of Ichabod's Will is held by Gordon Bowerman and attempts will be made to obtain a copy of it. Ichabod Bowerman died on 10 May 1874 in Norwich, Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada.
