  • Committee*: He served on a committee in 1803 in charge of erecting the first West Lake Meeting house. A log building, 21' x 31' was erected on a piece of ground donated by his brothers, Stephen and Judah. It stood on a piece of land known as "Bowerman's Hill" where the old cemetery still remains today in Hallowell Township, Prince Edward Co., Ontario Province, Canada.2
