Milton Bowerman removed to to Detroit, MI., USA. w/parents in 1839. He was living in 1861 at WI, USA; near his brother, Charles. He began military service on 4 September 1861 at WI, USA, in the Union Army, during the Civil War. He contracted Malaria after 4 September 1861 at Point Rock, AL, USA.
     Milton, age 25, married Sarah Ette Root, age 22, , daughter of Asa Root and Margaret Dearborn, on 8 August 1862.
     Between 1864 and 1868, Milton was employed or working as a a painter at WI, USA. He ended military service in the Honorably Discharged from service on 6 October 1864 at Nashville, TN, USA.
Milton Bowerman removed to to Springfield, MO., USA. In February 1868 from Rock Co., WI, USA. He recieved a pension from the U. S. Government. On 17 May 1912 at Springfield, MO, USA.

He applied for a patent for an "Improved Carding Machine" with his brother and uncle, Amos Bowerman. On 21 August 1861 at Port Perry, Reach, Ontario, Ontario, Canada.
Jacob Chronkite Bowerman removed to to Gale Township, Trempealeau Co., WI., and were "pioneers" of Wisconsin. After 21 August 1861 from Ontario, Canada.
     Jacob Chronkite Bowerman died on 23 March 1880 at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 19 days. He was buried after 23 March 1880.
