     James Bowerman was born in 1834. He was the son of Thomas Levi Bowerman and Mary Platt.
     James married Calesta Ann McCartney, age 23, daughter of James McCartney and Eliza (?), on 8 March 1859. He lived between 1863 and 1865.
James Bowerman removed to to Hallowell Township. Circa 1865.
     After 1865, James was employed or working as a taught school at "Bowerman's School" for a long time.
     James married M. C. Fraser after 19 July 1866.
     James married Lydia Caton after 19 July 1866.

Calesta Ann McCartney (F)

     Her married name was Calesta Bowerman. She was born on 24 August 1835. She was the daughter of James McCartney and Eliza (?).
     Calesta Ann, age 23, married first, James Bowerman, son of Thomas Levi Bowerman and Mary Platt, on 8 March 1859. Calesta Ann died of Consumption on 19 July 1866.
     Calesta Ann McCartney died on 19 July 1866 at the age of 30 years, 10 months and 25 days Aged 31y 10m 25d. She was buried after 19 July 1866 at Wellington Cemetery.

     Amos Bowerman was born on 24 July 1835. He was the son of Thomas Levi Bowerman and Mary Platt.
     Amos, age 22, married Rhoda Ann Babbitt on 3 March 1858. He lived in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, in 1881.
Amos Bowerman removed to to Washington State in 1889 from Ontario, Canada. He witnessed the Migration of George Young Bowerman in 1889 at Ontario, Canada, WA, USA; with his parents. He was naturalized circa 1900 at Medical Lake City, Spokane, WA, USA. He lived in Medical Lake City, Spokane, WA, USA, in 1900.
     Amos Bowerman died on 5 January 1927 in Medical Lake, Spokane, WA, USA,, at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 12 days.

      Research Note: Allen had only lived in the US for two months at the time of his death; only fifteen days in Los Angeles. Allen Bowerman was born on 20 May 1844.
     Allen married Carrie Stephens, daughter of George Stephens, after 20 May 1844. He was the son of Thomas Levi Bowerman and Mary Platt.
     After 1865, Allen was employed or working as a "Professor."
     Allen married Thomasina (?) circa 1876 ; Date based on birth of first child.
     In 1891, Allen was employed or working as a a High Scool Teacher at Moose Jaw or Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He lived in Moose Jaw or Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1891 1891 Census shows them living in District 198 for Moose Jaw and Regina, Sub. C., Div. 5. He was Methodist.
     Allen Bowerman died on 24 December 1923 in Los Angeles, CA, USA,, at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 4 days of Cerebral Hemorrhage; Aged 79y 7m 14d.
